Note: I do not own the pictures of ill girl and those microbes

I am fully aware that this time of year is the common cold season and those viruses finally ran after me. The best way to described my condition is by looking at the picture displayed above, but minus the cuteness of course. I spent most of my days lying on my bed and sleeping which usually called total bed rest. The most stressfull thing was I could not do anything because I have a lot of deadlines coming up. Furthermore, I could not concentrate on reading those literatures about complicated math. My head was a little bit heavy, it feels like those nasty microbes were dancing around my head celebrating their victory (see the picture =P). I constantly coughing and sneezing all night long like mad dragon (whatt...??). I am very sure that my neighbour is a nice guy because he did not complain about the noise. I have been forcing myself too hard on finishing my thesis because I have always been afraid of failure from time to time. But I love that music called Failure which is sung by Kings of Convenience, though. I think that my illness is the negative outcome of my mental stress. Well, I guess I have paid my consequence for not taking care of my body appropriately. So, kids! do not try this at home!

Note: I do not own the picture tv and laptop

Then, I decided to watch marathon episode of The Conversation again (really..??!!). I do not have cable because it is too expensive, so I watch the show from my laptop. I kind of like this show and i never get bored watching it. Well, I mostly watched everything that I like more than once anyway XD. Especially, if I have that very gorgeous husband like Nick Valensi from the Strokes, I will stare at him all day long. However, he is someone else's husband, so he is not available unfortunately =D. What I like about the show is its very natural way of recording. The conversation took place in a normal living room with homy environment. The host and guests wore normal comfortable clothing unlike other interview where the famous people dressed up glamorously. They were also sat down at the couch with their legs up just like regular people having conversation at home. Most of the guests were sharing real things for example Jane fonda. She has been living in this world way longer than i do obviously. She got a lot of experience to share and did not hesitate to open up about her private life even about her sex life. The experiences of those guest as a woman open up my eyes. Well, it has also an exact meaning because i have been sleeping due to cough syrup =P. It is good to know that these great women also went through tough time and multiple failures before achieving success. This makes me realize that I should not be too hard on myself, because failures are stepping stone before success.

Also, I think that the rawest and most honest clip from The Conversation is when Amanda de Cadenet gave her 14 years old self advice to "keep her knickers on a little longer." She was wearing minimal make up and the clip setting looked really raw. For some reason, I agree with her statement that girl should not have sex until they are ready emotionally. Physical relationship is too much to handle for teenage girls especially during their raging hormonal period. And, I am sure there are more scientific explanations behind this. It may be a good way to explain to those young girls before deciding to become sexually active. The very old method to warn those girls is telling them that they will loss their self-worthiness when giving away their virginity before marriage. I remember funny episode (the transporter malfunction) from the big bang theory season 4. Leonard and Sheldon refuse to open their toy because they are afraid that it will loss its value. Then, Penny replied that she was given the same lecture from her mother about her virginity XD. Well, I think any human beings are valuable in their own way.

After all, the last few days on bed watching The Conversation has been a nice experience as well. In my worst physical and mental condition, I absorbed those revelations from famous people better, I guess... =D. As a conclusion, total bed rest = more stress?, I do not think so in my case. Thanks to The Conversation ;). It is very good to know that other people also have difficulties at some point in their life which means that we are not alone in this world.

Reading is a process of acquiring knowledge through writings, while writing is a process of combining knowledge to create readings.
